Those are really amazing!! :D Can I ask you to point me out to the site where you find the textures/stock images you use on the icons? It's hard to find a good site and I honestly have just a couple ones. If you, for some reason, don't want or can't give the link, no problem! I'll understand. :)

Keep it going!

Sure I will share. That's the point of these journals....right? :)

I have saved a LOT of tutorials that give links to gradients, and brushes that are specifically 100 X 100 in size. That's where I get most of them. So feel free to go to my userinfo page, and click on Memories. I names them weird. But almost all of them have taught me something about icons.

icons_with_love Has a BUNCH of textures, and brushes that I've downloaded and used.

I don't use many stock pics on icons. But I get the Lost caps from numerocinco If I do use any lighting or stock pics, I get them from http://creative.gettyimages.com/source/home/homeCreative.aspx

I hope this helps out. Let me know, if I can tell ya anything else, I forgot. lol

Oh thank you so much for all that help. That's more than I asked for but still very appreciated! :D Always good to learn other things. I'm quite new to this icon stuff, well I'm actually *really* at the very beginning. I normally work on bigger sizes. Thought that working on smaller ones would be a challenge. Even if nothing good comes up, it will be fun. :)

Thank you again! *hug*

Really the coloring and stock images are the same on icons, and anything bigger.

As for textures, there's a site:

Awesome work, Wav! I have a favorite, but then I think you know that. I'm seriously thinking of buying more space just so I can use that top "lost/sunset" icon too.

You are always too nice to me. :-D

Hi Wav! I'm JHobbit from UV and we haven't officially met but I'd like to change that. I've admired your work over at Urban visions for some time now. The Lost icons you've put up here are very nice indeed. What a great show! Nice to meet you and I hope to have more contact with you in the future. un4scene is so wonderful, and nice to me too! Just had to add that.

Hi JHobbit!

I appreciate the compliments about my work. That's very nice of you.

Un4scene is a wonderful person, and personally one of my best friends...online or not. :)

Thanks for stopping in.
